Enrollment

Being Part of our Pack

Before you look to enroll, please think about whether daycare is truly right for your dog. Bear in mind that there is a big difference between socializing in the park for a few minutes and in spending all day with other dogs, and daycare is really only for those that truly love the company of other four-pawed friends.

Just like people, not all dogs are social, especially if they are not raised to be so early on, and some just prefer the company of people to other dogs, i.e. would be happier having someone to just walk them and/or play fetch. If this is the case with your dog, then we'd recommend you look for a pet-sitter or dog walker, as opposed to a daycare.

On the other hand, if you have a puppy then daycare is highly recommended!

Enrolling Puppies

The more social interaction your puppy has with other dogs and people early on, the fewer challenges you'll face when bringing them along on social outings later. While it's true that exposing a puppy to other dogs before their third round of vaccinations—typically around 16 weeks—comes with some health risks, it’s also important to consider their developmental stages. Most puppies enter a period known as "hazard avoidance" around 14 weeks of age, during which they naturally become more cautious and wary of new experiences. Prior to this phase, they are generally more open and curious, making it an ideal time for safe and positive socialization. Balancing the risk of illness with the benefits of early exposure is key. Avoid taking young puppies to beaches or parks where unvaccinated or stray dogs may have been. Instead, consider safer environments like puppy training classes or reputable daycares that require all dogs to be fully vaccinated. We do not accept puppies from shelters or rescues until they are fully vaccinated. However, we may accept young puppies from registered breeders on a case-by-case basis.

Breed Exclusions:

None! We are firm believers that there is no such thing as a bad dog breed. We have met some truly wonderful power breeds that are playful, gentle and very loving towards everyone.

Very Important Considerations:

While some daycares may accept unneutered or unspayed adult dogs, we do not.

We require that all small breed dogs be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age, and medium to large breeds by 10 months. Smaller dogs tend to reach reproductive maturity more quickly, and we often see hormone-driven behaviors—such as mounting and excessive marking—become well established by 6 months. For larger breeds, testosterone does play a role in healthy muscle development, but after 10 months, hormone-related behaviors can become ingrained habits, making them more difficult to manage.

Other Requirements:

  • Up-to-date on vaccinations

  • De-wormed regularly

  • Free of ticks & fleas

  • In good health

How to Enroll:

With over 11 years of experience, we're deeply passionate about the work we do and the services we provide. Our team includes six dedicated full-time staff members, and we’re proud to maintain a very low turnover—something that speaks to the positive environment we’ve built. Over the years, we’ve developed a consistent, well-honed routine that our enrolled dog-kids truly enjoy. As a result, we’re consistently at full capacity and maintain an ongoing waiting list.

To get added to the waiting list, please fill in the online form on our Contact Us. When your fur-child's name nears the top of the list, we’ll reach out to schedule a "Viewing Day," typically held on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Each prospective parent or couple is booked for a 30-minute tour of our facility, during which you’re welcome to ask questions and get a feel for our environment. We encourage you to bring your fur-baby along so they can also meet us and explore the space, though it’s not required. Their first full day of daycare will be an "Assessment Day," during which we do slow introductions to the other pack members and we’ll closely monitor them for any problematic behaviours and to ensure a fun, stress-free and smooth integration.

Why Are We So Popular:
